J-Pop Band: Scandal

Way back when I was a kid I would go to a friend’s house and we would watch music videos on MTV for most of the morning. You heard that right, MTV use to play music videos. That use to be all they played. It was an amazing time to be a kid. By kid I mean pre-teen and teenage years. Anyway, I was thinking how I missed spending Saturdays watching the newest music videos. I got the bright idea to go find a music video made by the J-pop band Scandal. I had spoken about J-Pop before in another post, but never watched a music video for one except for AKB48.

This had me wondering if they were all like this. I searched for the band Scandal since I had wanted to hear their music for some time. What I found was nothing like I had ever seen before. I was blown away by the video I had seen. I found the video Yoake No Ryuuseigun on YouTube. I will admit I do not understand the words they sing, but I love the way the music and words come together. It was amazing to see the energy they had. You could tell by the looks on their faces that they were having fun.

While we do have bands, most of our pop stars are solo artists. When it comes to all girls’ bands, I think the only one I seen in America was the Dixie Chicks; and they are a country music band. It was awesome to see four women rocking it and having fun. Below are a list of places you can buy their albums. I have also included a couple music videos Scandal put out. Also here is a link to their site. http://www.scandal-4.com/
